  • Innovating Industrial R&D of Korea
  • Korea Industrial Technology Association(KOITA) is an independent non-profit association, which supports and promotes private companies in their efforts to establish corporate R&D centers.

    KOITA has the authority to officially accredit corporate R&D centers in Korea and currently claims a membership of over 8,600 companies that operate such facilities. Meanwhile, the number of corporate R&D centers has passed the 40,000 mark.

    Vested with a professional staff of 100 full-time employees at its headquarter, KOITA provides a full range of services to its members. Such include technology innovation, policy support and international cooperation opportunity, etc.

    The greater portions of the KOITA’s revenues are generated by the membership fees it levies, together with other forms of income such as the execution of government commissioned projects. In brief, KOITA is the premier institution responsible for promoting technological development throughout Korean industry.
